Farm Wives United is a group of people who believe in balanced, sustainable farming. We are people who live on the land that we farm and with the animals that we breed. We try to follow safe, humane practices and respect the land and animals that are our businesses. The founding members are mothers, sisters and daughters that live in the communities where they farm. People in our organization have families that have farmed the land for over one hundred years and we hope to still have these families farming into the future. Farmers like our members have traditionally been the backbone of agriculture and community in the USA. These farms are not just businesses, but our way of life.

The farmers with Farm Wives United believe in combining old-fashioned beliefs about respect for our land, our animals and our selves with the best in new farming technology. New practices and equipment are evaluated for their benefit to the sustainability of the farm. We do not believe in blindly accepting any new farming practices or technologies to simply increase our short-term profits. New ideas can look very good on paper, but in practice turn out to be harmful to our environments, our people or our economy. We live on this land and wish to eat the food that we produce. Our farms are not just factories.

Mission Statement

The Farm Wives United Organization will always keep Our Lord God in every move.  Our main purpose is to education the public on the issues surrounding Food Safety and America's ability to produce an adequate, safe food supply.  The American Farmer has always been the backbone of America.  The greatest threat to homeland security is to NOT be able to feed ourselves.  Therefore our objective is to educate the people.
